RANCANGAN PENGAJARAN HARIAN(MAKRO-TEACHING)

Theme                         : World Of Knowledge
Topic                           : Unit 16--To The Zoo
Content Standard        : 2.2 By the end of the 6 year primary schooling, pupils will be able to 
                                            demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non linear
                                            texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of
                                            strategies to construct meaning.
                                       3.1 By the end of the 6 year primary schooling, pupils will be able to
                                            form letters and words in neat legible print including cursive
                                            writing.
Learning Standard      : 2.2.1 Able to read and apply word recognition and word attack skills
                                              by matching words with : a) graphic
                                      2.2.2 Able to read and understand phrases in linear and non-linear  
                                              texts with guidance.
                                     3.1.2 Able to copy and write in neat legible print: d) words
Objectives                   : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
                                      a) read and recognize words.
                                      b) match the words to the pictures.

Teacher shows the incomplete puzzle and asks six pupils come in front of the class and complete the puzzle.

Discussion Questions:
1. What is this animal?
     angry birds
2. Where does they live?
    tree, house
Pupils take part and complete the puzzle.

Pupils respond to teacher’s question orally.
While Activity
(10 minutes)
Teacher shows the flashcards of “ can keep at home”, “ cannot keep at home”,  and keep on the farm” then asks pupils read aloud.

Teacher asks a few pupils stand in front of the class and show the animals pictures cards. Pupils say out the names of the animals and make their sounds.

Discussion Questions:
1. What animals is this?
2. What is the sound of this animal?

Pupils read the words.

Post Activity
(15 minutes)
Teacher pastes the flashcards on the whiteboard and asks pupils to categories and paste the animals pictures card  and their names in the correct table.

Pupils take turns to paste the animals pictures card on the whiteboard.

Teacher hands out the worksheet and asks pupils to complete the exercise.
Pupils listen and complete the exercise.
